About the band

Fleeting Indecency was founded in 2018 in a small suburban New Jersey town in the crossroads between New York City and Philadelphia. Erodori and Colin have known each other since high school and immediately clicked with their similar political leans and music interest and remained in touch after graduation. Erodori has always been talented with music and Colin was always interested in pursuing it as a hobby. Originally created as a folk punk project recorded in Colin's patio. Fleeting Indecency has taken on many shapes and forms in the five years of it's existence. In it's new form, the band intends to shape it into a mix of many things.

Colin currently resides in the Cleveland, OH suburbs, and Erodori is still based in South New Jersey.

Q: Are you ever going to play any live shows?
A: We've been contacting venues and bands in Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, but as of right now we have no plans for an immediate tour, but keep an eyes on our socials, it is updated way more often then this website!

Q: Where did the name "Fleeting Indecency" come from?

A: A history teacher that taught at the high school both Erodori and Colin went to came up with it. He mentioned the name during a course both Erodori and Colin attended and stated that it would be a cool band name, so they made it the band name. Both Erodori and Colin regard this teacher as one of their favorites in high school.

Q: Why does Fleeting Indecency have so many releases?

A: As well as band releases, of which there are only a few, Erodori releases a lot of her solo material under the band name as well.

Q: Do you both have any merch or any way we can support you?

A: You can go to our Bandcamp page and give money to the band by way of purchasing one of the many songs we have in our library.

Q: Who are your influences?

A: We are both influenced by Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, as well as Blink-182. Colin credits Tom Delonge as the musician that inspired him to pick up a guitar and start making music.

Q: I am a label / artist / session musician and I want to work with Fleeting Indecency, where do I go to talk to the band members?

A: We don't have a fancy email yet, for now you can reach out the band Instagram that we both have access to and check on a regular basis. You can also email fleetingindecencynj@gmail.com, but this is not checked as often.
